Gender mainstreaming Training started at Bischoff Adulala Resort this morning in the presence of Women's parliamentary caucuses of the House of Peoples' Representatives of the FDRE and regional State House of Representatives caucuses.

The Gender mainstreaming Training, which is said to be the third round, is being funded by the European Union's Civil Society Fund (CSF). It is also known that the union works with key institutions to empower women.

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples' Representatives Honorable Lomi Bedo said the training is designed to create capacity for future work and to raise awareness. Therefore, the members of the caucuses leadership and the rest of the training participants should learn from this by paying close attention and developing dialogue.

The training will last for two consecutive days. Deputy Speakers of the Regional and Two City Administration Councils are participating. The leadership of the Women's parliamentary caucuses of the Federal Parliament, as well as the leaders of the Standing Committee and the Secretary General of the Secretariat of the House of Peoples' Representatives Her Excellency Dr. Misrak Mekonnen are in attendance.
