Biography

Hon. Usama Mohamed is a young environment and social development expert with a wide range of experience spanning 10 years in youth development, entrepreneurship, economics, and policy development. Usama has BSc Hydraulic Engineering MA in Sustainable development studies. Over the last 10 years, Usama has been actively working on social development and environmental sustainability with a particular focus on building skills of rural communities to adopt climate change through water conservation, climate smart agriculture, policy advocacy, and access to water for all Ethiopian citizens. Usama is an active citizen who is passionate about youth employment, economic justice, climate, pastoral development and ultimately, economic growth for a prosperous Ethiopia.
