The Speaker of the House of People's Representatives of Ethiopia, Honourable Tagese Chafo, welcomed the delegation led by the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, at Bole International Airport.

Honorable Tagese said that Ethiopia and Iran have been friendly countries for a long time and that there are many issues that bring them together.

He added that the diplomatic friendship between the two countries should be further strengthened.

Mohammad Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran's Parliament, stated that his country wants to strengthen its relations with Ethiopia.

It is expected that the delegation will continue to attend the meeting and conduct extensive discussions and various visits.
