The Ethiopian Business Diplomacy Delegation, led by State Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Aklilu Hailemichael is taking part in Ethiopian Business and Investment Seminar which is being held in the cities of Kobe and Nagoya, Japan from February 6 to 7, 2018.

Earlier on Monday (Feb 05, 2018), the delegation visited the Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd in Osaka Japan on Monday (Feb 5, 2018) as part of the Ethiopian Business and Investment Seminar to be held in the cities of #Kobe and #Nagoya, Japan from February 6 to 7, 2018.

Members of the delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Business Diplomacy Directorate General, the Embassy of Ethiopia, Tokyo and the Ethiopian Investment Commission held talks with the company's Chairman and CEO Mr. Kunio Yamada along with its Executive Vice President Dr. Lekh Juneja and discussed on the issues of business and investment opportunities in Ethiopia.

Dr. Aklilu explained the different positive incentives provided, the availability of competitive labour and young productive population as well as the economic development and political stability of the country as factors that make Ethiopia a suitable place for Foreign Direct Investment.

In his remarks, Foreign Minister Dr. Workneh said international terrorism is unacceptable in any way and stressed on the importance of international coordination and cooperation to fight the scourge. Ethiopia, he said, would continue to strengthen its role in fighting terrorism and maintaining its profound role in the peace and stability of the world.
