Speaker requests citizens cautious against #COVID-19

March 27, 2020; Addis Ababa: Speaker of the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the FDRE, His Excellence Tagesses Chaffo requested all citizens of the nation to be cautious more than ever in the fight against #COVID-19.

His request came this afternoon at his office during an exclusive communiqué he held with the Media Directorate of the House. He, by then, reminded everyone that the precaution measures on the virus should be dealt continuously.

The Speaker also said, everyone across the nation should be obedient to the advices of the health personnel of the nation along with the stronger caution measures from WHO. It is well known that the WHO is the ultimate global source of info concerning pandemics like Corona virus.

Negligence, according to Tagesse, is a highly unacceptable manner of the day & hence, he reminded; citizens must be curious enough in acting against the deadly #COVID-19. The prevention efforts are on the way but, not satisfactory as to the Speaker. And as a result, he strictly underlined precaution as the best prevention.

“In addition to contributing ones share; people are ought to obey advices and take precaution measures into account. We shall leave the rest for the Supreme Deity. I hereby request everyone in the nation to stand together in the fight and inherit the prosperous nation” the Speaker said.

The Speaker, as usual, expressed his wish for divine blessing for the nation and disclosed the fact that the House of Peoples’ Representatives is fully dedicated its duties to the national cause, which is fighting the spread of Corona virus.
