Tthe Budget and Finance Affairs Standing Committee shall conduct oversight and control on the following matters:
1/ to oversee and control that the activities relating to the country’s financial and economic development and cooperation are being carried out appropriately;
2/ to oversee and control that the federal government tax and duty administration as well as government revenue activities are being carried out appropriately;
3/ to oversee and control that the federal government annual budget and supplementary budget has been duly prepared and approved of;
4/ to oversee and control that the subsidy grant to the states is approved based on the formula;
5/ to oversee and control that the federal government financial and property administration is effective and carried out appropriately;
6/ to oversee and control that policies which enable to ensure sustainable and equitable economic development of the country are initiated and implemented appropriately, and that the economic is managed in appropriate manner;
7/ to oversee and control that the country’s development plan and projects preparation and implementation system is devised and implemented on time;
8/ to oversee and control that the country’s population policy is prepared and macro-economy and fiscal policies are initiated and implemented appropriately;
9/ to oversee and control that an accurate system of the federal government budgeting, accounting, disbursement and internal auditing is established and implemented appropriately;
10/ to oversee and control that impact assessment and evaluation on the country’s economy performance has been made before the conclusion of economic cooperation and integration;
11/ to oversee and control the appropriate implementation of policies, law, strategies and plans related to the bodies under its oversight and control mandate;
12/ to oversee and control that the bodies under its oversight and control mandate utilized the budget allocated to them appropriately and effectively.
