The House, in its 17^th regular sitting, held on 15^th March 2018    endorsed the appointment of Ethiopian Press Agency Board Members.

According to the proclamation No. 113/1987, article 7, which was proclaimed for the establishment of Ethiopian Press Agency, the FDRE, Prime Minister, H.E Mr. Hailemariyam Desalegn, proposed the following nominees:

1. H.E. Mrs. Frehyiwot  Ayalew-Chairperson,
2. H.E.  Mr. Solomon Tesfaye-Member,
3. Hon. Mr. Amanuel Abreham-Member,
4. H.E. Dr. Addisu G/ Egizeabher-Member,
5. Mr. Asiged Getachew-Member,
6. H.E. Dr. Teshager Shiferaw-Member&
7. H.E. Dr. Yohannis Shiferaw-Member.

The House approved the appointment of the nominees by majority vote, with one abstinence.

The appointees appeared before the House and were sworn an oath to discharge public and government responsibility entrusted to them with integrity, honesty and commitment.
