The government believes that the creation and continuation of a peaceful and stable country calls for the presence of a democratic system. It is also obvious that the process of building a democratic system would not be sustainable without a firm institutional foundation. The small amount of work done in strengthening institutions of justice and democracy over the past years was the main reason for breaches of democratic and political rights. Based on this existing reality, now is the time to introduce amendments in the law and reforms in institutions towards strengthening the justice and democratic system. Inclusive reforms and amendments are, accordingly, being carried out to make sure that laws and institutions realize their goals based on our constitution and international human rights agreements, winning social trust by serving as independent institutions that stand the taste of time.
