Prospectus

Prospectus is simply giving information. The House of Peoples Representatives has set strategies of collecting information from different stakeholders in order to enable it to exert its powers of control and supervision.

Purpose:

• To ensure proper use of public and government resources and property;
• To ensure jobs are done based on law and order;
• To ensure fair and fast development direction;
• To ensure democracy and good governance;
• To ensure the rights of citizens, peace and tranquility.

Who can make a referral to the House?

• Governmental entities
• Committees
• Community
• Non-governmental entities

• Concerning injury or damage to the State or public interest and property;
• When it is assumed that the Constitution is in danger or under threat;
• When government policy and strategy is obstructed;
• When there is conflict between peoples or a conflict may arise;
• When human rights are violated or serious artificial/natural disasters occur.

• Issues judged or resolved in court;
• Issues resolved in judicial or administrative proceedings;
• Issues investigated or settled by legally established bodies;
• Suggestions may be rejected if they are not directly submitted by the concerned person.

• The identity of the informer shall be kept confidential by the House, members and Standing Committees.
• Testimony and documents remain confidential if confidentiality is requested.
• The House confirms whether proper legal protection is provided to the referring party.
